Looking for an easy, healthy snack that your little ones will love? My Strawberry Yogurt Bites are a breeze to whip-up and are definitely kid-friendly!
Hello again! Lisa here, reporting from Moments With Lisa. Today, I’m very excited to share a new recipe I put together. And you know what? It is SO simple to whip up. My Easy Strawberry Yogurt Bites are a fun, simple snack that is perfect for your kiddos.
An Easy guilt-Free Snack For Kids
My son is a snacker. He loves to munch on snacks all day. I have to admit (with a little bit of guilt) that sometimes those snacks are not too healthy. Once in a while, he’ll get a hold of some chips, popcorn or my famous one bowl chocolate chip cookies, and it makes me want to pull at my hair! So I thought, “Why not have tasty AND healthy snacks readily available for him to reach for?” This is how Strawberry Yogurt Bites came to be.
Why Yogurt Bites?
I noticed that my toddler loves snacks that he can pour into a bowl and then munch on. My frozen yogurt bites are the perfect size to just pop into your mouth!
I made my frozen yogurt bites to be about 1 inch in diameter. You can also make them a bit wider or, if you triple the recipe, you can put them in a lined muffin tin and freeze them to be larger snacks. The freezing time would take longer (about 2 hours).

The best thing about these frozen yogurt bites is that you can use any fruit that you want. Berries are usually your best bet since they can be pureed so easily – but kiwis and cherries would also do very well!
Can I Use Frozen Fruit for This Recipe?
Absolutely! Frozen fruit are a great option so that you can store them for a longer amount of time. The key with this recipe is to measure the amount of fruit you need and thaw it out before using it to make yogurt bites.
5large strawberrieswashed and cut (with leaves removed)
1tbsphoney
1cupGreek yogurt
Instructions
Add strawberries and honey into a food processor and mix until a puree forms. You will need about ¼ cup puree for this recipe. Save any leftover for later use.
Mix together puree and yogurt in a bowl and scoop mixture into a piping bag.
Pipe out tiny dollops of yogurt on the lined pan, about 1 inch in diameter. Freeze for about 1 hour and serve!
In a bowl mix together strawberries, greek yogurt, vanilla, and maple syrup. Scoop out bite sized balls onto a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper. Place baking sheet in freezer. After about 3 hours, remove from freezer.

Both yogurt and strawberry have a lot of benefits to our body. Yogurt, first of all, is rich in important nutrients. It is high in protein, calcium and strengthens the immune system. It also has a lot of benefits for the heart.
What Are Dried Yogurt Bites? Commercial yogurt bites go by a few names: yogurt puffs, yogurt melts, and yogurt bites. The premise is the same — dots of yogurt are dehydrated, creating a melting bite that is also shelf-stable.
Yes, you can freeze yogurt to eat like ice cream. Note that the texture may be firmer compared to store-bought frozen yogurt or ice cream, but it still makes a refreshing and healthy snack. How long does yogurt last if I freeze it? Yogurt lasts for one to two months in the freezer.
To make a frozen yogurt you can scoop like ice cream, you need to add sugar. As with ice cream and sorbet, the more sugar you add, the softer your yogurt will be. Sugar molecules get in the way of growing ice crystals, keeping your frozen dessert smooth and creamy.
The United States Food and Drug Administration inspects other foods. Yogurt can be stored in the refrigerator (40 ºF) one to two weeks or frozen (0 ºF) for one to two months.
Yogurts can be high in protein, calcium, vitamins, and live culture, or probiotics, which can enhance the gut microbiota. These can offer protection for bones and teeth and help prevent digestive problems. Low-fat yogurt can be a useful source of protein on a weight-loss diet. Probiotics may boost the immune system.
This is the time, I long for a refreshing dessert that I can quickly whip up without having to spend much time in a hot kitchen. I bet I'm not the only one! You can make this keto yogurt cream in no time, no cooking or baking necessary! All you need are fresh strawberries, Greek yogurt, heavy cream, and sweetener.
Frozen strawberries are picked at the peak of ripeness, at the perfect moment, so they have time to develop more sugar. This means that regardless of the season, you're guaranteed a burst of strawberry goodness in every sip of your smoothie. No more disappointingly bland berries that leave you wanting more.
Washing frozen berries will not remove the risk. Most viruses and bacteria found on frozen berries can survive freezing. They also can survive freeze-drying, and heat treatments of less than 85 degrees Celsius. Frozen berries that have been heat-treated can be cooled rapidly and refrozen for subsequent use.
If your plans include baking or just using them to toss into a smoothie or cup of yogurt, slicing the succulent berries and packing them in dry sugar is a sure bet for retaining best color and flavor.
