What is the highest weapon rarity in Darktide? ›

Max Rating

The max base stats of a Transcendent weapon rating is 380, the additional two tier 4 perks for 25 each and two tier 4 blessings with 60 each. The total max rating of a weapon is 550.

The Daemonhost is considered an Unyielding enemy, so look for weapons with high damage against that type. This means a high base damage, but don't worry too much about Penetration, since it won't matter. Chainswords, Eviscerators, and Chainaxes are usually good selections.

Suggestions for optimizing performance in Darktide include testing between Fullscreen and Borderless Windowed modes, using Performance Mode on Xbox Series X, modifying CPU Worker Threads, enabling DLSS and FSR, disabling Ray Tracing, setting a framerate cap, and adjusting Anti-Aliasing and Volumetric Fog settings.

A perfect weapon, like the one I crafted in the screenshot above, will have a Rating of 550. This requires a level 380 Modifier weapon with at least one Tier-4 Perk and one Tier-4 Blessing. You can reroll one of your Perks as many times as you want and replace one of your Blessings.

The Armoury Exchange now has the option available (“Brunt's Armoury”) to acquire a specific weapon by its mark (Mk). Both Melee and Ranged weapon marks are available once you have unlocked them by reaching the appropriate level.

Captain Wolfer is the main antagonist of the 2022 game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. He is a captain in the traitorous Moebian 6th regiment, and now the fallen regiment's supreme commander, having turned to the lure of Chaos.

The Purgatus Staff is, for all intents and purposes, a Soulblaze flamethrower for Psykers. It excels in burning down hordes, and it's perfect for holding choke points. Unlike the Zealot's flamethrowers, Purgatus staves require no ammunition and can be used for as long as the Psyker can manage their Peril gauge.

So the rating does matter, but not in the way you think. If you compare a weapon, it has a multitude of stats on them. Damage is only one of the stats. At higher rating there is more "points" placed into each of the stats, but it's a random placement.

OVERALL PERFORMANCE. Pushing quality and quantity of things make Darktide a demanding game, but we nevertheless are keen to support as wide range of hardware as possible. To be able to do this we have to make many features and fidelity of features configurable.
